changes

Okay! I finnished up my time in Spain feeling quite ill on my last full day. With T-minus 24ish hours until I would be back in MN, things were about to get a little crazy.

I landed home on the evening of Dec 29. I left again the morning of Jan 1.

A whirlwind 60ish hours saw me feverishly repacking and seeing as many people as I could track down.

I'm currently writing to you from the LAX airport, waiting for my painfully long layover to end so I can board a plane to New Zealand.

And this is where the changes come in.

Between now and roughly the 12th of February, I'll be in NZ. For most of this time (4-5 weeks), I'll be working on an organic vineyard--the first certified organic vineyard in NZ. I also hope to have the chance to do some traveling during the tail end of my time in NZ, maybe, possibly going and finding some Lord of the Rings sets among other things.

I've been told that New Zealand is a nock your socks of kind of beautiful. I've been told that the people there are the nicest portion of the population of Earth. The frequency and validity of the sources for these reports makes be doubt that they are untrue. I've also been told that the internet is not like what we're used to here in the States. Word has it that internet is expensive and limited in NZ.

Which means that the blog may slow down a bit. I don't want to be that person who uses up all the internet. So while I'll do my best to keep you all updated on the goings on in this new part of my year, they may be farther apart. As I learn more about how internet connection works here, I'll work out a system for updating the blog. But I promise I won't disappear from the internet.
