Grand Plan

Sorry for all the silence. I’ve been away from the internet for a while. But if things had been bad, I would have made an effort to let you know.

The good news is that things have been great! Once I get the chance to sit down and write some stuff, I’ll fill you in on all my observations (I’ve got the feeling that if Spain was about self-examination, New Zealand will be about other people—and a bit of landscapes).

But for now I’ll tell you my grand plan.

Originally, I was going to spend around a months at this vineyard, but pretty much as soon as I got here, I got hit by the travel bug real hard. Within a few days, I’d decided to only stay at the vineyard for two weeks, do some traveling, and then WWOOF at another place.

On the seventeenth, I’m leaving the vineyard (and yes, yes,  I realize I have said NOTHING about that, but I will, I promise, and if I don’t, remind me). I’ll head to a few towns and sights in the North Island, and then fly into Dunedin, one of the bigger cities in NZ, to WWOOF there, and hopefully learn a lot about horticulture.

That is my grand plan. It’ll definitely be interesting. I can’t wait.
